The Cardiology app is an application that constructs a 3D model of the patient’s heart from CT scans to allow the process
of heart surgery to be seamlessly communicated to the patient.
-
Focused on integrating CardEP (cardiac imaging software) within current server logic while also ensuring proper usage of
route calls allowed seamless display of front-end 3D model developed on Slicer3D.
-
Prototyped in Figma, utilized PyTorch to construct algorithms analyzing severities of cardiac surgery.

2023-2024
Developed Candor App
Co-Founder
• Developed and launched a mobile app using React and TypeScript, aimed at fostering meaningful interactions between political leaders and constituents. Enabled users to propose ideas directly to leaders, who could adopt these proposals for credit. Successfully deployed the app on both the App Store and Google Play.
• Architected the backend infrastructure with Node.js and Express, ensuring seamless app functionality. Deployed servers using AWS EC2 with elastic IP and load balancing, and utilized Firebase and MongoDB for data storage and user authentication.
• Achieved over 1,500 app downloads, beta-launched in District 26 with Senator Paul Friel, and influenced a $22 million budget through official launches at the University of Florida and Georgia Tech. Secured a $10,000 prize at the GatorTank AI competition and reached the top 100 in the App Store News charts.
2024-2024
Candor Web Dashboard
Co-Founder
• Expanded the platform by developing a React-based web dashboard for leaders to manage constituent issues, integrated with the same backend as the mobile app. This allowed for a unified system where issues could be reported via the app and managed on the dashboard.
• Incorporated three AI features to enhance the solution:
1. Auto-routing of issues to the best-suited department using Cohere's transformer-based classification model, improving response efficiency.
2. Grouping of similar issues facilitated by OpenAI's text embeddings and MongoDB's Atlas Vector Search, allowing leaders to address multiple issues collectively.
3. Automated detection and request for missing information in constituent issues, such as location details for a pothole report, using Cohere's LLM model and an inbound parse webhook
2024-Current
Workiva
Software Engineer
-
Worked on both frontend (React) and backend (Dart, Kotlin) to integrate a third-party service, ensuring duplicate controls can be mapped for the same citation in the Workiva Compliance Manager Tool.
-
Developed and maintained backend logic to validate and enforce compliance standards, ensuring that controls defined by clients or customers met specific regulatory requirements, such as SEC standards.
-
Implemented permission features to restrict mapping and installation of UCF frameworks to authorized users
